In the summer the Village is well connected to many MTB (Mountain Bike) trails and hiking trails making it an ideal starting point for exploring the Tarentaise Valley.

There is a cycle path from nearby La Bonneville through the forest to Bourg St Maurice and continues all the way along the I’sère to Aime.

Direct access to the Vanoise National Park, one of the most famous parks in the French Alps where you can explore alpine meadows, lakes and encounter diverse wildlife leading to Col du Chardonnet and Col de la Chal. This is but a taste of what lies on our doorstep.

Biking

There are bike rental shops in nearby towns where you can rent mountain bikes, road bikes or e-bikes.

The French Alps are renowned for their biking and there are numerous well-marked trails catering to riders of all skill levels. From gentle forest tracks to challenging downhill descents you will find a variety of terrain.

Les Arcs has a dedicated bike park with a range of downhill and free ride trails. The park is accessible by lifts, making it easy to assess the higher altitudes without an arduous climb!

For the purist, the Savoie Mont Blanc offers a huge range of cycling itineraries of all levels of difficulty from flat rides through the river valleys to long alpine ascents into the heart of the French Alps. Cyclists can ride straight from the chalet door to the Col D’Iseran, Col de Petit St. Bernard, Cormet de Roseland and Col De Madeleine to name a few.

A completely refurbished aquatic centre with two indoor pools and one large outdoor pool in Bourg St. Maurice – ideal for all ages only 20 minutes drive away.

There is white water rafting or Hydrospeed on the River Isère and High Rope Adventure 10 minutes drive away as well as Parapenting, Kayaking and Riding.

Local golf courses in Tignes, Les Arcs and La Rosière.

There are a multitude of activities especially geared for children in July and August including Street Carnivals, Circs and Fetes (www.seelesarcs.com).
